Born from a lifelong friendship on a shared street in Scranton’s Keyser Valley, The Cameron Avenue Band embodies the spirit of classic rock blended with the heart of contemporary country. Founded by childhood neighbors Jim Sr. and Nunzi Allegrucci, and later joined by Jim Jr. (a.k.a. "the Wordman") on drums, our trio has crafted a sound deeply influenced by musical giants and enriched by decades of friendship.

From humble beginnings jamming in the basement to rocking out on the stages of Northeast PA's premier nightclubs and opening for iconic acts like Quiet Riot and the late Eddie Money, we've experienced the full spectrum of live performance environments. Our journey has even taken us through the festive streets of the Scranton St. Patrick’s Day parade—a highlight in our storied history.

Beyond the Band: Off stage, our lives are just as dynamic. Nunzi, a seasoned entrepreneur, runs "Nunzi's Automotive Sales & Service" and celebrates a passion for classic cars and drag racing, sharing victories with his son, the NMCA World Drag Racing Champion. 

Jim Sr., alongside his son Jim Jr., explores the art of music production at their own recording studio, "The Stude," delving into both analog and digital realms using a mix of vintage and modern equipment. Their dedication to sound and production is matched only by Jim Sr.'s impressive collection of guitars, a testament to nearly half a century of musical devotion.
